Joyce Carol Frye

Joyce Carol Frye, age 66, of Cumming, formerly of Dahlonega, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2011. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lendon Phillips; sisters, Betty Reed and Jewel Boulware; brothers, Carlton Butler and Johnny Butler.

Survivors include her son, Steve Frye of Cumming; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Jean Butler, Jimmy and Donna Butler, of Dahlonega, GA; sister and brother-in-law Dean and Walter Duran of Oakwood; Oshi, her beloved dog; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 15th at 300 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Dahlonega. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Wednesday from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm, and Thursday from 9:00 am until hour of service.
