Calvin Monroe Samples

Calvin Monroe Samples, age 74, of Cumming, GA, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2011. He was a member of Roanoke Baptist Church. He loved to farm, fish and hunt. Monroe is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Odessa Samples.

Survivors include his wife, Nellie Samples; daughter, Martha Rose Ann Samples; son, Calvin Wayne; daughter, Beth Samples; daughter and son-in-law, June Ann and Brian Castleberry; brother and sister-in-law, James and Shirley Samples of Dawsonville; sister, Lola Mae Boyd of Buford; sister, Martha Givens of Buford; 2 step grandchildren and other loving relatives.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Shadburn and Rev. Emory Samples officiating. Interment will follow at Roanoke Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Sunday, from 1 to 9 p.m. and Monday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
