Mary Frances Baker

Mary Frances Baker, age, 82, of Mt Airy, passed away Thursday, December 08, 2011.

Born in Marietta, GA on March 22, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Luther Franklin Chastain and Jessie Lee Williams Chastain. Mrs. Baker was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and retired from Scovill Manufacturing with 35 years of service. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her husband Norman Baker of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Cherri Morrison of Cleveland; son, Michael Morrison of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Sammy Franklin of Mt Airy; sisters, Lucy Clardy of Martin, Barbara Caudell of Mt Airy; sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Boyce Martin of Alto; brothers and sisters-in-laws, L.M. and Marie Chastain of Mt Airy, T.R. and Betty Chastain of Conyers, Thomas and Frances Chastain of Douglasville, David and Patricia Chastain of Mt Airy, Robert and Sue Chastain of Mt Airy; grandchildren, Patrick and wife Chrissy Franklin, Lucas Franklin, John Morrison, Sarah Morrison; numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 10, 2011 from Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Loyd Martin officiating. Family will meet at the funeral home by 12 noon on Saturday.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Friday.
