Dolores Lee Sloyer

Dolores Lee Sloyer, 76, of Cumming, GA died at Northside Hospital Forsyth on December 5, 2011. Born in Rochester, NY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Katherine Stemp.

Dolores worked and excelled in the corporate world for many years primarily in the group insurance industry. As a wife and mother of 58 years Dolores raised 4 children. In this process she instilled in them a strong work ethic and a love of family and of life. After Dolores retired, her need to keep busy brought her a second career at H&R Block for several years. Dolores had a passion for reading and passed that on to her children. Dolores and her husband Paul loved to travel. Many times they would travel with their children and grandchildren throughout the United States; they especially loved to take cruises. She had a brilliant mind and a love for life. Everyone will miss her amazing smile and laugh.

Dolores is survived by her beloved husband, Paul Sloyer; children, Paulette (Steven) Graf, Diana (Jerry) Bombard, Tracy (Robert) Kirby all of Cumming, GA and Curtis (Rhonda) Sloyer of Gainesville, GA; 9 much-loved grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, December 10, 2011 in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 3:00
