Gizella Catherine Schumacher, 91

Gizella Schumacher, age 91, of Cleveland, GA (formerly of Gainesville, GA), passed away Friday, November 25th, 2011.

Born in New York, NY, she and her family moved to Gainesville in 1970. She was Veteran of the United States Navy where she worked as a dental assistant based in San Francisco during World War II.

She was retired from Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. After retirement, she did substitute teaching at North Hall High School.

Survivors include her son, William Gutersloh of Lake Saranac, NY; daughters Christine Barrett of Murrayville, GA and Stefanie Schumacher of Cleveland, GA; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday, December 2nd, 11:00am at Faith Lutheran Church in Cleveland, GA.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Giz Schumacher to the Arthritis Foundation.
