Jerry Dean Joseph Towry

Jerry Dean Joseph Towry, age 71 of Gainesville, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2011 at his residence following an extended illness.

No services are scheduled at this time.

Mr. Towry was born June 14, 1940 in Wichita, Kansas to the late Daniel Towry and Stella Rosenmiller Towry. He served in the U. S. Army and retired from Standard Telephone. Mr. Towry was of the Catholic Faith and was preceded in death by his parents and one of his daughters, Tracey Towry.

Mr. Towry is survived by his son, Daniel Towry of Gainesville, daughter, Dawn Towry of Cornelia, brothers, Jim Towry of Winchester, Tennessee and Steve Towry of Arizona, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
