Allen George Nelson

Allen George Nelson, age 56, of Forsyth County, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2011.

Allen was the owner and operator of Marine Generator Sales and Service. He was an avid ATV rider and enjoyed racing boats. He was a member of MENSA. He was a Veteran of the United States Army where he was a Linguist that spoke fluent Russian.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Felicia Nelson; nephew, Matthew Gravitt.

Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Rhonda Nelson of Forsyth County; brothers, Greg Nelson of Manteno. IL, Mark Nelson of Kankakee, IL; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ira and Elizabeth Gravitt of Forsyth, County; brothers and sister-in-law, Tim and Elaine Gravitt of Forsyth County, Dennis Gravitt of Forsyth County; nephew, Adam (Megan) Gravitt of Cumming; niece, Amy (Nathan) Price of Canton;

Memorial services will be held Friday, December 2nd at 6:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kevin Nix and Rev. Ruel Martin officiating.

In honor of his beloved cats, Homer and Floyd, donations may be made in Memory of Allen Nelson at the Forsyth County Humane Society, 4440 Keith Bridge Road, Cumming, GA 30041.
