Virginia Lois Gravitt

Virginia Lois Gravitt, age 83 of Cleveland, passed away Monday, November 28, 2011 at the Oaks at Scenic View.

Mrs. Gravitt was born November 8, 1928 in Covington, KY to the late Arthur M. and Ola Turner Ash. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Leon Ash, Masburn Ash and a sister, Mattie Nix. Mrs. Gravitt was a patient care worker and a member of Town Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons, Neal Wayne Sutton, Cleveland; Donald Richard Sutton, Fort Lauderdale, FL; Eddie Gravitt, California; grandchildren, Neal Shannon Sutton, Shawna Ann Norris, Brandon Gravitt; great grandchildren, Megan Ann Norris and Grayson Neal Sutton.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 1, 2011 in the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home with the Rev. Phillip Robinson and the Rev. Casey Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in Town Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
