Tammy Stapp Chapman

Tammy Stapp Chapman, 48, of Dawsonville passed away Friday November 25, 2011 at Northside Forsyth Hospital.

Born January 18, 1963 in Atlanta, she had lived in Dawson County for the past 8 years having moved from Riverdale. Tammy was preceded in death by her father, John Perry Stapp; and a niece, E. Whitney Strickland.

Surviving are her children, Kimberly Chapman, Murrayville, Shawn and Ashley Chapman, Dawsonville; mother and stepfather, Gail and Chubby Sheriff, Dawsonville; ex-husband, Tommy Chapman, Murrayville; sister, Vicki Strickland, Dawsonville; brother, Malachi Sheriff, Dawsonville; stepbrother and sister in law, Kevin and Kristy Sheriff, Dawsonville; grandchildren, Ethan, Ezekiel, Savannah, and Rylan.

Funeral services will be held Monday November 28, 2011 at 11 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Jamie Fortner will officiate. Interment will follow in the Stapp Family Cemetery, Rutledge, GA.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 4 until 9 at the funeral home.
