Bonnie Bell Mason Skinner, 71, of Gainesville passed away Friday November 25, 2011 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held Sunday November 27, 2011 at 3:30pm from the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Lamar Purcell, and Rev. Winfred Skinner officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday November 26, 2011 from 2pm-4pm & 6pm-9pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Skinner was born December 1, 1939 in Dahlonega GA to the late Golman Mason and Pearl Edge Mason. She was a homemaker along with working as a newspaper carrier for 25 years with the Gainesville Times, and was a bus monitor for Special ED dept with the Hall County School System. Mrs. Skinner was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Golman and Pearl Mason, granddaughter Amanda Leanne Scott, brothers Norman Mason, Clyde Mason, James Mason, William Mason, and sister Vera Bryant.
She is survived by her husband Austin Skinner of Gainesville, son and daughter-in-law Dennis & Renee Scott of Braselton, daughter and son-in-law Debbie & John Tingle of Forsyth GA, daughter and son-in-law Anita & Keith Herring of Kingsport TN, daughter and son-in-law Angie and Richard Schandera of Columbus GA, brother and sister-in-law Harold and Minnie Pearl Mason of Pearl Mississippi, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
