John Van Swan

John Van Swan, 65, of Cumming, GA died on November 20, 2011 at Northside Hospital Forsyth. Born in Hannibal, MO, he was the son of the late Ernest and Velma Swan.

Dr. Swan was on staff at North Fulton Hospital and was an active member of the Georgia Osteopathic Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Practitioners.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Swan of Cumming, GA; children, Brian Swan and Rachel (Bryan) Bryson of Cumming, GA; sister, Mary Jo Carter of Pueblo, CO; brother, Ernest T. Swan of San Antonio, TX; and much loved grandchildren, Elliott and Grant.
