Mozelle Doster Gaddis

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Mozelle Doster Gaddis, age 87, of Jefferson, who passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2011.

Mrs. Gaddis was born in Jackson County, a daughter to the late James J. and Dessie Blackburn Doster. Mrs. Gaddis was retired from Farming and Textile work, and for years, made homemade biscuits and fried pies for many people.

Mrs. Gaddis was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Gaddis, sisters, Mary, Gladys, Fannie and brothers, Lude, Charlie, Sam and Henry.
Mrs. Gaddis is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 21, 2011 at 2pm in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Hardy officiating. The burial will follow in the Jackson Memorial Park. The visitation will be held on Sunday evening from 6-9pm at the funeral home.
