Kevin Garth Neenan

Kevin Garth Neenan, 51, of Suwanee, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2011. Kevin was born in New Hartford, NY, the son of William and Norma Roberts Neenan.

He graduated from New Hartford High School in 1978. He obtained a Bachelors degree from Clarkson University in Industrial Engineering and a Masters degree from the University of Richmond. He was a member of the Clarkson fraternity, Sigma Delta, and enjoyed a longtime bond and wonderful memories with his brothers.

In 1987, he married Sue Ann Strich, also a graduate of Clarkson. Together they were the parents of their three beloved children; Drew, Morgan, and Cade. Kevin was General Manager of Commercial Metals Corporation Rebar facilities in Lawrenceville, GA; Greenville, SC; and Nashville, TN. Kevin was an active coach with Sharon Springs Baseball Association. He enjoyed many years of coaching and also enjoyed the many friendships he made along the way. He was an avid golfer. He was a member of Laurel Springs Golf Club and enjoyed sharing his passion of golf with his sons. He was also a member of St. Brendan's Catholic Church. Time with his family was priceless. Kevin especially cherished time spent with his boys in their sporting activities, weekend golf, in the Adirondacks and other special occasions.

Kevin is survived by his wife of 24 years, Sue Ann Neenan of Suwanee, GA; children, Drew, Morgan, and Cade; mother, Norma Neenan of New Hartford, NY; brothers, Brian (Karen) Neenan of Plattsburg, NY and Garth (Susan) Neenan of Alpharetta, GA; sisters, Sharon (Glen) Tabolt of Albany, NY and Lorin (Randy) Chann of Columbia, MO; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Michael and Helen Strich of Glens Falls, NY; his brother-in-law Michael (Silvia) Strich of Albany, NY; sister-in-law Pamela Strich Westphal of Bozeman, MT; and many very special nieces and nephews.

Kevin's Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 18 from 6:00
