Patrick Haste

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2011, in the chapel of Mason & Ward Funeral Home for Mr. Patrick Haste, 93, of Gainesville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The deacon Ken Lampert will officiate.

Mr. Haste was born in New York City, New York on November 24, 1917 to the late James and Charlotte Michel Haste. He was an Army Veteran having served in WWII. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Elks Club. He was also a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Gainesville. He was a retired Insurance Underwriter, attended Brenau University BULLI classes.

Mr. Haste is survived by his wife, Charlotte Haste of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Michele and Robert Angstadt of Sewell, NJ; step daughter, Susan Harrison of Suwanee; step son and wife, Randy and Debbie Tyers Szkola of Huntington, Conn.; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the VFW Post 8452, 1955 Delta Dr. Gainesville, GA 30501.
