Joseph B. "JB" Balenger, Sr.

Joseph B. "JB" Balenger, Sr., Age 80 of Carrollton, GA died Saturday, November 12, 2011 after a long battle with cancer.

Mr. Balenger has been cremated and a memorial service will be held Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 3:00PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Donnie Balenger and Chaplin Bill Hayes will officiate.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mr. Balenger was born April 13, 1931 to the late William A. and Mary Etta Robinson Balenger.

He was preceded in death by one sister and five brothers.

He is survived by his Daughter, Beth Dulin, McDonough, GA. Sons, Joe Balenger, Jr., Hoschton, GA, Jason Balenger, Atlanta, GA and Jeffrey Balenger, Commerce, GA. Brother, T.L. Balenger, Carrollton, GA. Eight Grandchildren. Seven Great Grandchildren. Sixteen Nieces and Nephews.

Mr. Balenger was a Veteran of the US Army where he served in Germany during WWII. He was a truck driver most of his life and he loved the big rigs and traveling around the country.

His hobbies were fishing and talking on his CB radio.
