Aaron Junus Couch, age 81 of Weaver, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at UAB Hospital, Birmingham, Alabama.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in New Bridge Baptist Church Cemetery, 3120 Cleveland Highway, Gainesville. Reverend Kenneth Pilcher will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 12, 2011 from 11:00 am to funeral hour, 1:00 pm, at the funeral home.
Mr. Couch was born July 13, 1930 in Gainesville, Georgia and was a long time resident of Weaver, Alabama. He lived with his brother John Couch where he enjoyed many years of hunting, fishing and gardening. Aaron enjoyed helping take care of the hunting dogs, and his beloved dog Jumper, which was his joy in life. Aaron loved and cherished his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Kelsey and Briller Ivy Couch, his wife, Veanie Davis Couch and his sister, Leola Couch Reeves.
Mr. Couch is survived by his brothers, John Otis Couch (Weaver) and Talmadge Couch (Gainesville), sister, Verdonia Collins (Maysville) and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
