Joan Elaine Gee

Joan Elaine Gee, age 59 of Gainesville, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, November 11, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Bethany Baptist Church with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Lamar Purcell will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday, November 11, 2011 from 10:00 am till funeral hour, 2:00 pm.

Miss Gee was born July 25, 1952 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Ernest L. Gee and Ruby Hanes Gee. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Wanda Gee.

Miss Gee is survived by her sister, Judy Gee of Gainesville, brother & sister-in-law, Gary & Angela Gee of Gainesville, and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
