Robert Nelson "Robbie" Skinner

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Robert Nelson "Robbie" Skinner, 62, of Jefferson, GA, who passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at his residence following a period of declining health.

Mr. Skinner was born May 5, 1949 in Clarke County, Ga. to the late Bobby Nelson Skinner and Merita Rowden Skinner . He was a heavy equipment operator with Puckett Paving Company for many years. Mr. Skinner loved fishing and the outdoors.

Funeral services will be Friday Nov. 11, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Hagwood officiating. Interment will be at Revival Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday Nov. 10, 2011 from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mr. Skinner was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Nelson Skinner.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Skinner, Jefferson, Ga. Son, Bobby Skinner, Jefferson, Ga. His mother Merita Skinner, Winder, Ga. Sisters Jackie Wall and Dee Ann Finch and brothers Phil Skinner, Barry Skinner, and Danny Skinner all of Winder, Ga. 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
