Richard Clark Byrd

Richard Clark Byrd, 67, of Cumming, GA died at Embracing Hospice House on November 7, 2011. Born in Toccoa, GA he was the son of the late Harold and Emily Byrd.

Richard spent his career as a pharmacist. He was a member of First Redeemer Church. In his leisure time, he loved to cook and garden. But most importantly, he loved his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Joyce Byrd; children, Richard Clark (Ann) Byrd, Jr., Elizabeth Ashley Byrd, James Gentry, Kathy Adams and Cyndi (Dale) Berrong; brother, David Byrd; sister-in-law, Pat Parker; grandchildren, Dillon Gentry, Brennen Mason, Sarah Gentry, Caleb Gentry, James Cole Gentry, Brandon Adams, Brooke Adams, Tyler Berrong and Cody Berrong.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, November 10, 2011 in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 9 from 6:00
