Anne Faye (Peoples) Fordham, age 45, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2011 following a courageous battle with breast cancer.
Beloved mother of Zach, step-mother to Ashley and John and devoted wife to Tom. She graduated from McNeese State University with a degree in Criminal Justice and received a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Georgia State University. She was a resident of Gainesville, Georgia and worked as a Registered Nurse at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA. She attended the First Methodist Church in Gainesville, GA.
Anne Fordham was a loving and caring person and always giving of herself to help others. She will be dearly missed by all those that she touched during her life. Anne's infectious laugh, humor and permanent smile will forever be imprinted on the hearts of all that knew her and loved her.
Funeral services are scheduled for 9:30 am Wednesday, November 09, 2011 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel with interment to follow at 12:30 pm at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, November 08, 2011 at the funeral home.
Anne is preceded in death by her mother, Jeanette Broussard Peoples, her father, Norbert Charles Peoples and her siblings, Stephen Allen Peoples, Edward Charles Peoples and Dennis James Peoples.
Anne is survived by her husband Tom Fordham; sons, Zach and John Fordham, daughter, Ashley Gallagher; and grandchildren, Kylee, Sean and Brody. She is also survived by her siblings, Ronald Peoples of Houston, TX; Michael Peoples of Houma, LA; Darlene Sokoloskis of Bristol, WI; Randy Peoples of Austin, TX; Amanda Fuselier of Baton Rouge, LA; Julie Ledoux of Sulphur, LA; Elizabeth Castro of Baton Rouge, LA; Vickie Peoples of Iksan, South Korea; Zoey Devall of New Orleans, LA and childhood friend, Melissa Cardone.
