Henry Homer Blackwell

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mr. Henry Homer Blackwell, age 72 of Dahlonega. Mr. Blackwell passed away Friday, November 04, 2011.

Mr. Blackwell's wishes were to be cremated and no public services held. Born on November 2, 1929 in Lumpkin County to the late Ted Blackwell and Lona Pearl Grindle Blackwell, Mr. Blackwell lived all his life in Lumpkin County. He was a retired Truck Driver and was of the Holiness faith. In addition to his parents Mr. Blackwell is preceded in death by his brother Drew.

Survivors include his daughter, LeAnne Blackwell of Alto, son and daughter in law, Paul and Cathey Blackwell of Cleveland; sisters Kathy Turner of Dahlonega and Annie Cleveland of Gainesville. Mr. Blackwell is also survived by his four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 6 to 7 pm
