Carey James Abee

Carey James Abee, 52, of Dawsonville, GA died on November 3, 2011. Born in Wichita, KA, he was the son of James (Rhonda) Abee of Palm Coast, FL. His mother, Joyce Abee and sister, Pamela Ann Abee also predeceased him.

Carey was a long-distance truck driver. In his spare time, he enjoyed cooking, playing his guitar and singing songs made popular by Elvis.

Carey is also survived by his children, Alison Abee (Patrick) Anderson of Sandy Springs, GA and Mason Abee of Texas; sisters, Patricia Ann (Gary) Jenkins of Wales, UK and Melinda Abee of Goodland, KA; stepsisters, Barbara Jones of Alpharetta, GA, Tammy Yazzie of Atlanta, GA and Sammie Schoen of Lakewood, FL; grandchild on the way, Leland O'Neil Anderson; aunts, uncles and nephew, John Eli; special friend, Alice Fradey; and much-loved dog, Patches Abee.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 6, 2011 in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 6 from 1:00
