Herbert John Vincent

Herbert John Vincent, 79, of Milton and Dahlonega, GA died on November 3, 2011 at Embracing Hospice House from complications of cancer.

Mr. Vincent was born on November 28, 1931 in Buffalo, NY, the son of the late Herbert E. and Lucille M. Vincent. Herb proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps. Upon completion of his service, he began a long and distinguished career with IBM. His career moved his family frequently, living in Tokyo, Japan twice. He was a worldwide travel enthusiast and an avid golfer.

Mr. Vincent is survived by his wife, Mary Wade Vincent; children, Matthew W. Vincent, Christopher J. (Gina) Vincent, Meg V. Jones and Andrea V. (Matt) Lydic. His 8 grandchildren will miss him dearly.

Friends and family are invited to attend the 5:00 pm mass on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at St. Brendan's Catholic Church in Cumming, GA. A "Celebration of Life" gathering will be held at the family home following.
