Peter Michael Lynch Jr.

Peter Michael Lynch Jr., age 86, of Dahlonega, GA, died Monday, October 31, 2011 at his residence.

Peter Lynch was a decorated World War II Naval Officer. He was Senior Executive Vice President of Decatur Federal Savings and Loan Association where he was in charge of the Bank's Real Estate Portfolio. He served as Chairman of the Property Commission of the Catholic Archdiocese of Atlanta. After retirement in 1990 he retired to Dahlonega, GA.

He was the son of the late Peter Michael Lynch Sr. and Irma Walker Lynch and was also preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Steve Lynch; and daughter, Margaret Stephanie Lynch.

Peter is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Joy Lynch, Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Peter Michael Lynch IV and Shannon Victoria Lynch. Several other relatives also survive.

A memorial funeral mass is scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Dahlonega.

Father Neil Dhabliwala will officiate.
