Sherry Thrasher

Sherry Thrasher, age 44 of Gainesville, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Memorial services are scheduled for Friday, October 28, 2011 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend Gerald Edmondson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 28, 2011 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Thrasher was born July 19, 1967 in Gainesville, Georgia to Benjamin Dietrich and Sandra Jackson Timblin. She was employed at Wayne Farms as a master data coordinator and was of the Baptist Faith. Sherry was preceded in death by her husband, Byron Thrasher.

Mrs. Thrasher is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Danielle & Marcos Martinez of Oakwood, son, Benjamin Thrasher of Gainesville, daughter, Erica Thrasher of Gainesville, father, Benjamin Dietrich of Dawsonville, mother, Sandra Timblin of Ely, Nevada, grandchildren, Julian Martinez, Isabella Benson and Allison Benson, best friend, Lynn Wiggins of Oakwood.
