Arthur G. Sears

Ivie Funeral Home Commerce announces services for Arthur G. Sears, 81, of Commerce who died Saturday. He was the son of the late George Washington and Cora Lee Hill Sears. He was preceded in death by two wives, Minnie Evelyn Crumley Sears and Bobbie Jean Martin Sears and a son Grant Sears.. Mr. Sears retired from Roper Pump Company.

Survivors include Steve Sears and George G. Sears both of Commerce, a step son Carl Veal of Nicholson, a daughter Melissa Campbell of Commerce and a step daughter Bonnie Baker of Maysville. 11 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 PM from the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Smith and Rev. James Dumas officiating with burial in the Grey Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the funeral home Sunday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
