Charles Glenn Grier

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00a.m. Saturday October 22, 2011 in the Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Charles Glenn Grier age 77 of Gainesville. The Rev. Peggy Wages will officiate. Interment will follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family received friends Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Grier passed away Thursday October 20 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a period of declining health.

Mr. Grier was born in Shelby, North Carolina to the late James Robert Grier and Clemmie Vemillion Grier. He served in the U.S. Army and worked at Gainesville Mill. He was a member of Candler United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by his Wife Mildred Mullinax Grier.

Survivors include Brother and Sister-in-law Bill and Nell Grier, Flowery Branch, Sisters and Brothers-in-law, Martha and Troy Chadwick, Cumming, Bobbie and Don Phillips, Gainesville, and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
