Elisabeth Jane Silhan

Miss Elisabeth (Lisa) Jane Silhan of Gainesville, Georgia, age 46, passed away Monday, October 17, 2011.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel.

Miss Silhan was born in Decatur, Georgia. She graduated from Georgia Tech and earned a Masters degree from The University of North Florida. She was employed with the University of West Georgia. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joann Elisabeth Cannon Silhan.

She is survived by her father, Ralph Silhan of Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law, Debra and Frank Staples of Severna Park, Maryland; niece and nephews, Grace, Chan, and Jacob; uncle, Dale Cannon Sr. of Buford, Georgia.
