Michael Paul Davis

Michael Paul Davis, age 52 of Maysville, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Athens Regional Hospital following a brief illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 2:30 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Michael Marsengill will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Davis was born November 17, 1958 in Gainesville, Georgia to Paul R. Davis and Jean Gillespie Davis. He was an electrician for Gooch Plumbing and Electrical Company and was of the Baptist Faith. Michael's passion in life was music and he was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Davis.

Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Jane Davis of Maysville, his son, Jessee Davis of Buford, his daughter, Hannah Davis Barefoot of Alpharetta, his parents, Paul & Jean Davis of Bowman, Georgia, 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
