James Howard David, Jr.,

Mr. James Howard David, Jr., age 49, of Maysville, GA died Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mr. David was born in Jackson County to Verner Sue Lord David of Danielsville and the late James Howard David, Sr. He was employed with Aldridge Construction.

In addition to his mother, Mr. David is survived by his wife, Carol Seay David of Maysville; sons, Clayton David of Danielsville, Scott Brock of Hull, and Chris Heath of Maysville; daughters, Adrienne David and Sheri Sorrow both of Maysville; brother, Steve David of Maysville; sister, Janice Brown of Danielsville; grandchildren, Kynlee Griffin, Hunter and Boston Heath, Taylor Sorrow, Destiny, Austin, and Kyler Brock.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 14 at 4 PM at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Seay, Rev. Chris Heath, and Rev. Jerry Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday night from 5 to 9 PM.
