Ivie Funeral Home Commerce announces services for Mrs. Karen R. Hill 60 of Homer who died Sunday Oct. 9, 2011. Survivors include her husband Mr. Harold Hill of the home, her mother Mrs. Norma Carroll Rogers of Smyrna, Ga. 2 daughters Danielle Hill Gaylor of Homer and Renne Hill Aikens of Lawrenceville, Ga. a brother F. Michael Rogers of Springlake, N.C. and 3 sisters Virginia Day of Dallas, Ga., Pamela Leary of St. Louis, Mo. and Kimberly Wathen of Symnra, Ga. 4 Grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her father Frank Kirby Rogers, a daughter Bobbi-Jo Hill Lankford and a brother William "Skip" Rogers.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 PM from the Homer Presbyterian Church with Rev. Alex Stephens officiating with burial in the Banks County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in the funeral home Monday evening from 7 to 9 PM.
