Maurice "Bud" Faulkner

Maurice "Bud" Faulkner age 90 of Gainesville passed away on Saturday October 8, 2011 following an extended illness.
Mr. Faulkner was born on September 20, 1921 in Gainesville, Ga. After he served with the U.S. Army during World War II, he became an officer for the Atlanta Police Department for 30 years and later with the Fulton County Police Department for 7 years. After retirement he moved back to Gainesville, Ga, where he lived the remainder of his lifetime.
He was preceded in death by his son, Doug Faulkner and granddaughter, Tyler Fishman Manchuck.
Mr. Faulkner is survived by his wife, Bonnie Tarpley Faulkner, daughter and son-in-law, Jackie Faulkner Fishman and Rick Fishman of Atlanta, granddaughter, Allison Fishman of Atlanta.
