Charlene Gabriel Whitey

Charlene "Happy" Gabriel Whitey, age 57, of Cleveland, GA., passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2011, after an extended illness.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 3:00 PM at New Hope Baptist Church, 3651 Browns Bridge Road, Gainesville.

A native of Gainesville, Happy attended South Hall High School and was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Gainesville. She was a homemaker who loved and lived for her children and her little dog, Jasmine

Preceded in death by her mother, Elaine Glaze Gabriel and two grandsons, Caleb Moore and Christian Callihan. Survived by her father, Charles A. Gabriel, Sr. of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Chuck Wilson of Dawsonville; son, Corey Whitey of Cleveland; brothers and sister-in-laws, Tony and Gail Gabriel of Gainesville, Terry and Becky Gabriel of Gainesville, Stanley and Sherri Gabriel of Clermont and Michael and Melissa Gabriel of Gainesville; sisters and brother-in-law, Angela and Gary Harris of Cumming, Susan Howe of Maysville, KY; granddaughter, McKenzie Gabriel, grandson, Jackson Wilson and several nieces and nephews.
