Frederick J. Waugh, Jr.

Frederick J. Waugh, Jr., age 97, of Clarkesville, Georgia, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2011, at the Habersham County Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Mr. Waugh was born on July 22, 1914, in Lincoln, Nebraska, to the late Frederick J. Waugh, Sr. and Ruby Belle Reed Waugh. He was also preceded in death by his twin brothers, Richard and Reed Waugh and his sister, Virginia Williams. Mr. Waugh was a captain in the United States Army during World War II where he served in the Office of Strategic Services. Mr. Waugh was engaged in real estate and insurance, but the love of his life was his involvement with his Omega Record Company. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Clarkesville.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Evelyn C. Waugh, Clarkesville, GA; daughter, Susan Waugh, Glendale, CA; son and daughter-in-law, Richard A. and Bonnie Waugh, Canyon Country, CA; and grandchildren, Justin Waugh, Christian Waugh, and Sascha Brash.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2011, at the First Presbyterian Church of Clarkesville with Rev. Lisa Graves officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church following the service on Saturday, October 15, 2011.
