Mrs. Louise Waters White, 88 of Gainesville died Saturday October 1, 2011 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Mrs. White was born in Hall County, Georgia on January 13,1923. She was the daughter of the late Clyde Franklin and Lillie Corine Wiley Waters. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Northeast Georgia Genealogy Society for a number of years and the St. Paul United Methodist Church. Mrs. White was a wonderful grandmother and best friend to all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her only child, William Stanley Roberts; her first husband, William Walter Roberts and her second husband, Thurman Autman White, Jr., her sisters, Dorothy Lorene Hulsey, Frances Ellis, Mary Lila Whitmire; her brothers, William Wiley Waters and Billy Clyde Waters, nephews, Jimmy Waters and Terry Wofford.
Mrs. White is survived by one sister, Betty Jo Wofford, Gainesville; daughter-in-law; Sheila Victoria Forrester Roberts, Kinston,NC; grandchildren, Elisha Victoria Roberts Mukim,Gainesville; and Che Scott Roberts,Kinston,NC; great grandchildren, Reagyn Drew Roberts and Braxton Creek Roberts; nieces of Gainesville, Ga., Karen Ann Ellis, Margaret Jean and Jimmy Hudson, Lynn and Ronnie Whited, Lisa and Ken Simmons, Donna Jean and Mike Wilson, nephews of Gainesville, Ga., Phil and Jan Wofford, Larry and Teresa Waters and Tim and Paige Whitmire.
A special thank you to her niece, Lynn Whited for all of her love and care shown to her aunt.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday October 4, 2011 in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Larry Forrester will officiate. Interment will be in the Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday October 3, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
