Myrtle Lois Guest

Myrtle Lois Guest, 78, of Dawsonville passed away Monday September 26, 2011 at Chestatee Regional Hospital following a period of declining health.

Born June 2, 1933 in Lithia Springs to the late Henry and Cora Belle Cochran, she had lived in Dawson County for over 30 years having moved from Forsyth County. She retired as an analyst for the I.R.S. after 30 years of service. Myrtle Lois enjoyed world travels, helping those in need and was a member of Kilough Church by the Lake. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Bobby Lee Hawkins and Travis T. Guest.

Surviving are her daughters, Pat Fishburn, Dawsonville, Debbie Guest, Fayetteville, Donna Ellis, Fayetteville; sister, Mary Ellen Ray, Suwanee; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Sunday October 2, 2011 at 2 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Jeff Burrell and Rev. Gerald Edmondson will officiate.

The family will receive friends Sunday beginning at 1 p.m.
