Robert Burns

Specialist Robert "Bobby" Burns, age 29, of Cumming, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2011. He was a soldier in the 3rd Battalion, 69th Armor Regiment at Fort Stewart, Savannah, GA. and was proud to be in the military. Bobby also loved his boys, family and friends very much. He is preceded in death by his younger brother, Daniel Martin Burns.

Survivors include his wife, Melissa Burns; father, Gregory Burns; mothers, Gretchen Burns and Michelle Burns; children, Daniel Thomas Burns, Samuel Eli Burns; cousins, Jason Burns, Lindsey Thomas, Jeffrey Burns and Hannah Young; and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 24, at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
