Sherry D. Cole

Sherry Dianne Blackman Cole, 60, of Clarkesville died peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011, following an extended illness.

Mrs. Cole was born on March 31, 1951, in Miami Fla. She was a homemaker and enjoyed working in her yard and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband Douglas Cole of Clarkesville; and granddaughters, Brittany and Briana of Miami, Fla.; and brother, Gary Blackman of Miami, Fla.

Mrs. Cole's wishes were to be cremated and no formal services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Sherry D. Cole Memorial Fund, 773 Daniel Road, Demorest, GA 30535, or by calling 706-499-0311.
