Larry Cecil Terrill

Larry Cecil Terrill, 66, of Gainesville, GA passed to his heavenly home, Monday, September 19, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Larry was born November 8, 1944 in Detroit MI. He moved to Danville, KY, as a young boy and graduated at Danville High School. He was a member of Chestatee Baptist Church. He worked in car maintenance field and for many years drove The Massey Ferguson Tow Tractor for Lanier Raceway in the dirt track days. He loved Nascar and was an avid UK Wildcats Basketball fan. He enjoyed his years of camping in Bald Mountain Resort and riding around on his UK Wildcat golf cart in the middle of GA Bulldog fans. Thank you to our camping family for their love, support and prayers.

He was preceded in death by parents, Harry B. and Lela Wheeler Terrill and brother Harry B. Terrill, Jr.

Larry is survived by his wife, Tricia Elliott Terrill; daughter, Tiffany Martin; and the love of his life, three "grands" Luke, Tyler and Katelyn Martin; sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and Rev. Chuck Bass; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Everett and Beth Elliott; nephew, Matthew Bass; nieces, Denise Elliott, Cindy Gossett and Angie Ferguson.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Chestatee Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. David Skinner, Rev. Cecil Reeves and Rev. Matt Pruitt. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
