Charles Ray Bennett

Mr. Charles Ray Bennett, age 62 of Commerce died Friday, September 16, 2011 at Northridge Medical Center. Mr. Bennett was born in Homer to the late, Virginia Bennett. Mr. Bennett was a retired painter.

Mr. Bennett is survived by his wife, Elaine Benton Bennett of Commerce; daughters, Margaret Bennett of Flowery Branch and Miranda Herring of Commerce; brother, Billy Bennett of Canton; granddaughter, Cheyenne Nix.

Graveside service will be 2:00 PM Saturday from Grey Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Will Herring Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday night from 6-8 PM.

Little-Ward Funeral Home Commerce is in charge of arrangements.
