Leman James Mills

Leman James Mills, age 82 a native of Forsyth County, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2011. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Mills was retired from General Motors. He was preceded in death by his wife, Verna Mae Mills; sons, Lamar Danny Mills and William Allen Mills.

Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Perry Cash of Cumming, Deborah and Eddie Waters of Colorado Springs, CO; daughter-in-law, Theresa Mills of Lawrenceville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jake and Ann Mills of Cumming, Shirl and Jeanette Mills of Fayetteville, Sherman and Shirley Mills of Kennesaw; grandchildren, Brian Phillips, Denise Salyers, Ashley Waters, Kendal Waters, Mike Mills, Brian Mills and Stacey Mills; 11 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 17th at 11:00 am at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Pruitt and Rev. Craig Richard officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Friday, from 12:00 noon until 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am until hour of service.
