George O'Kelley Sr.

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. George Dilmos O'Kelley Sr., age 74, of Maysville, Ga. who passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2011.

Mr. O'Kelley was born in Commerce, Ga. to the late A.D. O'Kelley and Imogene Wood O'Kelley. Mr. O'Kelley was the owner of O'Kelley Paving Company in Maysville, Ga. for over 39 years. Mr. O'Kelley was a member of Maysville Baptist Church.

Mr. O'Kelley was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Pamela Elaine O'Kelley.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday Sept. 14, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Maysville Baptist Church with Dr. Brian Stowe and Rev. James Dumas officiating. Interment will be at Sunrise Cemetery in Maysville, Ga. The Family will receive friends on Tuesday Sept. 13, 2011 at Evans Funeral Home from 6-9 P.M.

Those who are honored to serve as pallbearers are Terry O'Kelley, Doug Standridge, Rick Ariail, John Ariail, Jody Spivey an Christian O'Kelley.

Survivors include his wife, Hilda Smith O'Kelley, Commerce, Ga., son, George O'Kelley, Jr., Maysville, Ga. son, Terry A. O'Kelley, Homer, Ga., daughter, Luci Ariail, Maysville, Ga., daughter, Lee O'Kelley, Gainesville, Ga. son, Joe O'Kelley, Commerce, Ga. son Jonathan O'Kelley, Jefferson, Ga. daughter, Cheris Skelton, Gainesville, Ga. daughter, Christy Pierce, Gainesville, Ga. sister, Gwen Saville, Maysville, Ga. 17 grandchildren and 10 Great grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
