Anna Lou Hunt

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mrs. Anna Lou Hunt, age 95 of Cleveland. Mrs. Hunt passed away Friday, September 09, 2011 at a private nursing home following a period of declining health.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 pm, Sunday, September 11, 2011 from White Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Garry English and Rev. Lewis Fortner officiating Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Hunt was born in White County on April 6, 1916 to the late Andrew Hooper and Eve Boggs Hooper. She was a homemaker and was the oldest living member of White Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Hunt is preceded in death by her husband, E.B. Hunt

Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Josephine and Ed Stephens of Cleveland; son and daughter in law, Voyce and Imogene Hunt, Clermont. Sister, Dot Thomas, Maryville, Tennessee as well as seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 10, 2011 from 5 to 8 pm
