Conrad A. "Buzz" Baer

Conrad A. "Buzz" Baer, 74, of Dawsonville passed away Thursday September 8, 2011 at his residence following a battle with lung cancer.

Born June 2, 1937 in Elwood City, PA, he had lived in Dawsonville for the past 15 years having moved from Atlanta. A wonderful father and grandfather, he was loved by his family and his dogs. Mr. Baer was preceded in death by a son, Jonathon Baer.

Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Judith Baer, Dawsonville; son and daughter in law, Christopher and Patricia Baer, Dawsonville; grandson, Colin Baer; brother and sister in law, Charles and Martha Baer, State College, PA; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Private memorial services will be held.
