Norman Bruce Birch

Loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, Norman Bruce Birch died peacefully in his sleep on Sept. 1 in Suwanee at the age of 82.
His funeral will be held on Monday, Sept. 5 at
11:00 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 4833 Suwanee Dam Rd., Suwanee.

Norman is survived by his only sister, Wanda King, his beloved wife of nearly 57 years, Joyce Sainsbury Birch, their son and nine daughters, as well as 32+ grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Norman was born in Salt Lake City on July 6, 1929 to goodly parents, Tessar and Elizabeth Bevan Birch.
He married Joyce on Sept. 30, 1954 for time and all eternity in the LDS Salt Lake City Temple.
His life accomplishments included serving a mission for the LDS Church in the North Central States, earning a B.S. degree from the University of Utah, serving in the U.S. Army, and working for Union Carbide before retiring in 1984.
Norman served faithfully throughout his life in the LDS Church. Known for his quick wit and sense of humor, Norman touched the lives of many who came in contact with him.
