Patricia Anne Abernethy

Patricia Anne "Pat" Abernethy, Age 59 of Dacula died Wednesday August 31, 2011 after an extended illness.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday September 3, 2011 at 4:00 pm at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Greg Porterfield will officiate. The family will receive friends at their residence following the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure at www.komen.org in Memory of Pat Abernethy.

Pat is survived by her husband, Tim Abernethy of Dacula. Children, Sean Shaikun and wife Jenn of Athens, Rachel Holder and husband Justin of Auburn, Jonathan Abernethy of Dacula. Mother, Anna Philpott of Louisville, KY. Grandchildren, Anna Shaikun, Shepherd Shaikun, Jack Holder, Gabriel Holder. Brothers and Sisters, Kathie Zehnder of Lousville, KY, Linda Smialek of Louisville, KY, Robert Philpott of Andover, MA, David Philpott of New Brunsville, TX and Donald Lynch of Louisville, KY.

Pat was a native of Louisville, KY. She had lived in metro Atlanta the past 26 years. She was employed as a buyer with Rite Aid Pharmacy and a member of Sixes United Methodist Church in Canton.
