Jerry Dwayne Reed

Jerry Dwayne Reed, 28, of Dawsonville passed away Wednesday August 31, 2011 at his residence following an extended illness.

Born October 19, 1982, Mr. Reed was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. He was a member of Amicalola Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Amber Reed, Dawsonville; children, Hailey Marie and Bo Dwayne, Dawsonville; parents, Kenneth and Sherry Reed, Dawsonville; sisters and brothers in law, Kathy and Wayne Lipham, Destin, FL, Patsy and Terry Hurst, Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Michele and Alex Morales, Dawsonville; brother and sister in law, Kevin and Teresa Reed, Dawsonville; grandmothers, Eunice Reed, Dawsonville, Grace Howard, Villa Rica; four nieces, five nephews and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Saturday September 3, 2011 at 11 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tom Stradley will officiate. Interment will follow in the Amicalola Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7 until 9 and all day Friday at the funeral home.
