Eston James Brookshire

Mr. Eston James Brookshire, 85, of Flowery Branch, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at the Bell Minor Nursing Home following a period of declining health. Born on February 10, 1926 he was a lifelong resident of Hall County. He was the son of the late James Eller and Isabell Loggins Brookshire. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Elaine Brookshire; sisters, Lila Brookshire Dale, Edna Brookshire Whitlow; brothers, Burt Brookshire, Willie Brookshire, Jessie Brookshire, Julius Brookshire, Charlie Brookshire, Dillard Brookshire and Edwin Brookshire.

Mr. Brookshire is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Shirley Ann and Calvin Kelly; grandsons, Steve and Tony Mosley; special nephew and caretaker, Elo Clayton Dale and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday September 2, 2011 in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday September 1, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
