Robert L. Reagan, Jr

Robert L. Reagan, Jr., 63, of Dahlonega, GA passed away Monday, August 29, 2011at Emory University Hospital, Atlanta, GA.

Mr. Reagan was born in Millen, GA and graduated from Savannah High School (1965) and Savannah Technical School (1971). He served 3 years of active duty with the U.S. Marine Corps (radio dispatcher) and received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnamese Service Medal (w/1*), Vietnam Campaign Medal (w/60-), Presidential Unit Citation, Combat Action Ribbon and Good Conduct Medal. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant E-5. Following military service he had a career as a computer technician.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mildred Louise (Glisson) Reagan and Robert Louis Reagan, Sr., and his brother Jerry B. McCullough.

He is survived by his children, Kristie S. Ledford of Guyton, GA and Robert L. Reagan, III of Dahlonega, GA; step-children Jeremy Payne and Kristy Sutton; brother Arnold Reagan and sisters Mildred Reagan, Marie Miller, Shirley Drinnen and Kathy Behan; grandchildren Ericka and Johnathan Ledford, Taylar and Nicole Reagan; and numerous nieces and nephews and special friends and extended family.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel at Dahlonega Funeral Home. There will be a visitation on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
