Robert (Bob) H. Diggory, III

Robert (Bob) H. Diggory, III, age 77, of Dacula, GA, died suddenly on August 28, 2011.

Mr. Diggory's body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Sat., Sept. 3rd at 2 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel, 3481 Hamilton Mill Rd., Buford, GA 30519. A second memorial service will be held Sat., Oct. 22nd at 2 PM at the First United Methodist Church, 64 East North St., Carlisle, PA 17013.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents Robert H. Diggory, Jr. and Annis Sykes Diggory; sisters Grace (Walter) Beebe and Marion (Stanley) Bachleda.

He is survived by his children, Cindy Cunningham, Donna (Scott) Patterson, Robert (Nancy) H. Diggory IV, Annis (Harold) Poirier, John (Lorri) Diggory and Mark (Victoria) Diggory; grandchildren and loving family.

Born in Albany, NY, Robert attended Russell Sage College and served in the National Guard. He was a long-time member of the Lion's Club and a volunteer for Project Share in Carlisle, PA. He will be remembered for his warm heart and friendship, faith in God and his volunteer contributions to the communities in which he lived.
